Drugstore Haul #3

Nivea “Hawaii flower & Oil” Shower Gel
Last summer I got the “Sunny Melon & Oil” shower gel and I really liked it. Now I wanted to give the “Hawaii flower and Oil” a shot. The scent is very fresh making it perfect for summer.

Dove “Youthful Vitality” Shampoo & Conditioner
I got these two a while ago because they were on sale. I haven’t tried them out yet but I am curious to see how they will be like.

Dove “Pomegranate & Verbena” body lotion
The “Pomegranate & Verbena” scent is my favorite one out of the Dove line (although the “Mandarin & Tiare Flower” one smells amazing too). I never tried out a Dove body lotion but I am sure I won’t be disappointed with this one.

L´Oreal EverRiche Nourishing intensive mask
I got these two at Sainsburry when they were on sale for 2 pounds! I real steal considering they retail for double and even triple as much. I like the shampoo and conditioner from that series because they leave my hair feeling super soft and smooth. Hopefully the hair mask will be just as good.

Rexona invisible “aqua” deodorant
The Rexona invisible deodorant used to be my favorite deodorant back in my teenage years. I used to buy it year after year and I can´t quite remember why I stopped so I am giving this one another chance and see if I like it as much as I used to.

Drugstore Haul #2

Have you ever walked into the drugstore and only left with the things on your shopping list? For me this is rarely the case, however on my latest trip I did exactly that. Whether all of them were truly necessary is another topic but they were definitely on my “have-to-try” list.

First I went to the nail polish remover aisle because I was running low on mine and I have been wanting to try different brands for a while now in order to see whether the differences (if any!) lie. I ended up picked the “Sally Hansen Moisturizing Nail Polish Remover”, the “Cutex Moisture Guard Nail Polish Remover” and the “Superdrug Acetone-free Nail Polish Remover”. I have a feeling I won´t be running low anytime soon now.

As I used up my “L´Oreal Micellar Solution” and wanted to try another brand one I ended up getting the “Garnier Micellar SCleansing Water”. I believe this one is relatively new on the market and with 400ml definitely a big bottle (I believe the L´Oreal one only has 200ml). I have tried it once or twice so far and I´m happy with the results. This might replace my L´Oreal one in the future as value for money seems to fit.

Last but not least I went ahead and got the “Original Source Skin Quench Blackcurrant and Moringa Shower Gel”. When I smelled this in store it reminded me of gummy bears. I am not quite sure whether this is a good thing or a bad thing but now that spring is around the corner I wanted to have a fruity scented shower gel. I am quite picky with my soaps because I tend to have dry skin so fingers crossed for this one!

Germany Haul aka Catrice Haul

A couple of days ago I went to visit some friends in Germany and of course I had to stop by the drugstore and check out one of my favorite make-up brands: "Catrice".

About an hour later my basket was full and my wallet empty, but I don´t regret it. I haven’t purchased in a while and unfortunately I don´t have a Catrice counter nearby, so I indulged myself during this trip. Anyway let me show you what I ended up getting.

What did I purchase?

Ultimate Stay Lipstick "Plum and Base" (4,99€)
Finally I can call this beautiful lipstick mine! I have wanted to try it, ever since it came out months ago. I absolutely love the design of the packaging, it´s a timeless sleek matt black tube, which just looks very elegant. The lipstick color is a relative dark blue toned berry color with a satin matt finish that lasts easily 3-4 hours on my lips. I am still on the “trying out” process but so far I love it!

All Matt Plus foundation in "010 Light Beige" (6,49€)
This was more or less an impulse buy but the color matches my skin and the price my wallet. My first impression is good. It definitely has a matt finish and stays on your face for around 6-8hs. We will see want the long-run test says.

Lash/Brow definer (2,99€)
I needed a new brow gel and decided to give this one a try. Let´s see how it works!

Liquid metal eye shadow "Gold leaf me" (3,95€)
“Gold leaf me” is a beautiful metallic olive green shade which to me was reason enough to buy it. If it applies as nice as it swatches I will be super happy with my purchase.

Liquid metal eye shadow "Gold n´roses" (3,95€)
This is another product I wanted to try out for a while and now I finally got it. “Gold n´roses” is a rose-gold shade I cannot wait to play around with it.

Limited Edition Baked eye shadow "Lovely Lace" (3,95€)
A dirty golden greenish color and and definitly an impulse buy. So far though, no regrets.

Liquid Metal Gel Eye Pencil "Blingo Starr" (3,29€)
I must say that this gel eyeliner has a super smooth consistency and the color just impressed me so much in store. It is a silver-gold shade which is quite unique if you ask me. I plan to use in the inner corner or even as a base all over the lid.

Liquid Liner Waterproof (3,79€)
The non-waterproof version is my favorite liquid liner so I wanted to give the waterproof version a try and see which one I like the most.

Ultimate Stay Lip liner "Boysenberry" (2,25€)
I bought this lip liner to go along with some of my raspberry lipstick shades. So far I am kind of disappointed because the pencil just feels really dry and I have to press quite hard on it to get it to show up on my lips.

Re-Touch Light Reflecting concealer "005" (3,99€)
What can I say... you can never have enough concealer and I love trying them out. Although 3,99 for only 1,5ml is quite expensive...

Limited Edition Lose Sparkles in "Soft Shimmer" (3,75€)
Super fine shimmer particles that I am not quite sure yet how I will use, but I liked them in store and I am sure I will find a purpose for them.

Drugstore Haul #1

Batiste dry shampoo // 150ml
Ok, I admit that I probably didn´t need to buy 3 bottles of dry shampoo, but they were on sale for £1,50 and I love Batiste dry shampoo so I just went ahead and stocked up. Yes, I am one of those People who loves to buy things when they are on sale. You too?

L´Oreal Hair Expertise shampoo & conditioner // 250ml
I have been eyeing this hair care line for a while now. Because they were on sale for £3 each I finally picked them up (told you I like sales). I went for the smoothing & moisture/nourish series and hope they will work as promised, fingers crossed! For those of you wondering this line contains no sulfates or silicones.

Vaseline "spray & go" body moisturizer // 190ml
Again, another product I have been curious to try out for a while now. As it has a rather steep price I kept pushing it off but as it was on sale at "Boots" (UK Drugstore) this week I finally picked it up for about £3. I am not sure if this will be moisturizing enough for my dry skin but sure looks fun to play with.

Dove intense repair express conditioner // 180ml
I have already repurchased this product twice and will probably keep repurchasing it as it is one of my favorite conditioners at the drugstore. It does a great job at keeping your hair soft and smooth.

Original Source skin quench "Watermelon & Jojoba oil" shower gel // 250ml
You have to smell this in store. If you like watermelon scented products, I promise you won´t be disappointed with this one. It smells amazing! For £1,35 it went straight into my basket and is now waiting to be used. I am super excited to try this out!
